Start the day off right with a tasty treat and your morning cup of joe. The locally famous Mount Currie Coffee Company is located on the right as you enter Pemberton. Its sustainably sourced coffee and jam-packed breakfast burritos will have you fueled for the wildest adventures. Order the Canadiano; it includes a glug of maple syrup in your latte to sweeten any morning. If you want to be a true Canadian, add maple syrup to everything!

For mouth-watering baked goodness, Blackbird Bakery is a must-stop in the heart of Pemberton. Everything from bread to sweet and savoury treats is baked in-house - a locals’ tip is it’s best to come early before they’re sold out. They offer daily staples such as valley sourdough, Pemberton potato bread, one-of-a-kind cinnamon buns, pain au chocolat and meat pies, to name a few. If you’re lucky, you can treat yourself to one of their seasonal creation then, stroll through Pemberton Village as you sip on your locally roasted coffee or tea from Squamish. They’ve got treats all heart’s desire, so pick something up to brighten your day.

For a busy schedule, meals on the go are necessary, particularly for adventuring in Pemberton, where you will need something hearty and delicious. Pemberton has a variety of meals to take out for even the pickiest of eaters. For example, you can enjoy Brooklyn-style pizza from Backcountry Pizza handmade with love. Order online or dine-in, and you decide from an assortment of pies, make it vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or meat lovers.
Mile One Eating House has it all. All-natural beef burgers, homemade veggie burgers, roasted golden potato wedges, and gourmet family comfort food, you won’t want to eat at home ever again. A Sea to Sky local’s favourite dining spot, Mile One, is known for its fine-dining mixed with local cuisine at an accelerated slow food style. Choose anything from alternative burgers, hearty salads, mystery dinner features, and your mom’s classic mac n’ cheese, but with a kick of gourmet. Finish the night off with a delicious sweet treat made in-house from scratch!

Take out dinner from Pemberton’s hidden treasure, Barn Bork Thai Cuisine. They strive to provide a unique and authentic experience of Thai Cuisine, with locally grown ingredients from just down the road. All made with love, try something new or stick with the classics. Open Wednesday-Sunday for take-out and dine-in on Fridays & Saturdays; come and get it while you can. In March of 2022, they will be moving to a Whistler location. They are even working on Thai-inspired ice creams and sorbets, some flavours vegan friendly. Starting just six years ago, Barn Nork has quickly become a top spot in the Sea to Sky region.
For our vegan, vegetarian, or conscious eaters, visit Pemberton’s newest addition. The HWY Cafe is a 100% plant-based breakfast and lunch joint. Their menu is constantly changing due to seasonal locally sourced ingredients and daily inspirations. Breakfast specials are served until 10:30AM, and then lunchtime kicks off. Pick up a fresh, delicious burger or wrap to go, don’t miss out on this flavour explosion.

When you’re on vacation, it’s essential to treat yourself to a night out with no cooking or cleaning involved. So why not spend it out at Pemberton’s best. There’s a wide range of restaurants featuring different cuisines. The Pony located in the town centre offers gourmet comfort food and is a local staple. So many newly harvested vegetables, their meals will blow your taste buds away. If you’re looking for something different in a small town, visit Fish & Rice for a cozy sushi bar atmosphere. The freshest ingredients make this the perfect spot for any Japanese cuisine lover.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, family-owned and operated Grimm’s Deli will have you stuffed full all day long. With locally sourced ingredients, they ensure a flavourful meal. So choose between the ultimate all-day breakfast, filling sandwiches, build-a-burger or Brooklyn-style pizzas. Next, visit Fescus Restaurant on the Big Sky Golf Course for a more traditional meal. Enjoy a stunning view of Mount Currie in the background as you indulge in a delectable meal. Order the Cheese lovers fondue for two, or if you’re more of a sweet lover, don’t worry, there’s chocolate fondue for you.
