Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP)

Pemberton is blessed with stunning lakes and rivers that are ideal for stand-up paddleboarding. Rent a paddleboard and glide across the crystal-clear waters of Anderson Lake, Lillooet Lake, or One Mile Lake. Enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains as you test your balance and core strength. SUP is a fantastic way to explore the tranquil beauty of Pemberton's waterways while engaging in a full-body workout.

The Paddle Barn on One Mile Lake is an excellent option for renting SUP’s. Their rates are $35 for one hour or $65 for two hours.

Swimming and Beach Relaxation

Sometimes, all you need is a lazy day by the water, basking in the sun and enjoying a picnic with loved ones. There are several places in Pemberton to Unwind, swim, read a book, or simply soak up the natural ambiance of Pemberton's summer paradise. Here are a couple favourite spots to check out:

  1. One Mile Lake Park - One Mile Lake Park in Pemberton, BC is a lake with mountain views, and a scenic lakeside trail. It has a nice grassy area, sandy beach and two docks to swim off of. This lake is a great option if you’re looking for a place to relax close by and to enjoy Pemberton's natural surroundings.

  2. Mosquito Lake - Located approximately 15 minutes from Pemberton Valley Lodge, Mosquito Lake is a popular swimming destination. The lake is known for its tranquil setting and pleasant swimming temperatures. It’s definitely worth a visit! Due to limited dock space, it’s recommended to bring floating devices or a Stand Up Paddleboard.

  3. Strawberry Point - Strawberry Point is a very popular destination on Lillooet Lake. The large sandy beach area is the perfect place to spend a day at the lake surrounded by stunning mountain views. Strawberry Point is also a beautiful camping spot if you want to spend the night or weekend on the lake.

Pemberton Spray Park

Ideal for families with young children, the Pemberton Spray Park is the perfect place to cool down on a hot day. Running May through September, you can visit the spray park located by the Pemberton Community Centre.

The water is activated by pushing a button, and the park operates between 10am and 8pm daily. Your kids are sure to have a blast running through the water park and playing with the other kids!
