Pemberton Named Kraft Tour Finalist

Pemberton was recently named as one of the 20 finalists for TSN's Kraft Celebration Tour. If Pemberton was to win its bracket it will receive $25,000 to go towards the BMX Bike Track and will get the chance to host a live broadcast of TSN's Sports Centre later in the summer.

For those unfamiliar with TSN Sports Centre, it's the Canadian version of daily sports highlights. And if Pemberton is to win against the other B.C nomination we will host a live version of the sports news show in the heart of Pemberton later this summer.

So how do we advance you may ask? Well on Thursday, July 11 the TSN Kraft Celebration website will begin a voting period that takes place during a 24 hour period beginning at 9 AM. What that means is we only have a 24 hour period to vote and advance to the final stage. Pemberton up against only one other community so all we have to do is receive more votes than them and we win.

Visit the TSN Kraft Celebration Tour website next Thursday, July 11 and cast your vote for the Pemberton Bike Track. If you are wondering if voting is unlimited, IT IS - so sit there all day and night if you wish and keep voting over and over for Pemby.
