The Pemberton 4x4 Rally Returns to the Green River Rally
grounds on June 2 & 3, 2018.
The 4x4 has deep roots in the community of Pemberton. Originally
held in the township of Birken B.C, the event was moved to the
Green River Rally Grouds north of Pemberton accommodate the rising
popularity of the event.
Participants trucks are often long labours of love in the shop,
fitting high performance tires, engines, exhaust, suspension and
several other after market parts. The result is a high powered
racing machine capable of climbing up monster hills, through swamps
of mud and catapulting over huge jumps.
Saturday, June 2
Hill Climb | Competitors line up at the
bottom of a 400 foot vertical hill and hit the pedal. Sounds easy
enough but at such a steep climb, shifting gears correctly and
using nitro become necessary strategy.
Mud Bog | Drivers start at the end
of a long mud bug and splash their way through over 6 feet of mud
Sunday, June 3
All Terrain | This event is kind of like
the Olympic triathlon for trucks. Drivers race around a figure 8
course equipped with jumps, sharp turns and mud pits. Fastest time
Powder Puff | This one is strictly for the
ladies. Contestants take a lap around the All Terrain course,
fastest time wins.
It's usually the first hot weekend of the summer, always bring

delays between events)
